sys admin day Forum
Hi all,
we have set up a sys admin forum.
There are quite a lot of visitors each day. You may notice that there are no adverts or annoying pop ups on the site.
We run this site just for fun.
As we are sys admins, we have resources that we can utilise for the benefit of the community. Please help us by partisipating and adding content.
Please feel free to post in the forums and tell others about us.
Many Thanks

Jobs at Sys Admin Day UK
Unfortunately I have no jobs to offer anyone, but I am thinking about adding a job listing area to the site. It will be free to use, but I need to know if anyone is going to use it.
While we are waiting I have added a job listing block down on the right side of the site. It should only list System Administrator jobs.

Create or Join Sys Admin Day Groups
We have added groups to sysadminday.
Now when you create content you can assign it to your own group.
You can create groups for your business, area or type of sys adminin (That a new word I think)
So if you are a sys admin for Linux then feel free to create a group and post interesting posts to it.
We also have a Wiki type of posting page if that is what you want.
So go crazy and enjoy group posting.
Update to the site
The good news is that I have a contract for Rolls-Royce doing something. You may think that it means I will have less time, but you would be wrong. I actually have more time because I can't do any work at home.
I have used my extra time to add some content to this site.
DONE
A poll has been added - please let me know if you want more options or if you want a different poll by leaving a comment.
What is a System Administrator?
Most people read "system" to mean an individual computer, and think that all a sysadmin does is clean viruses off your computer and replace your monitor.
A real computing system is larger. Very few computers work just on their own anymore. When you use the web, play a game online, share files with a friend, or send email, you're using a complex and intricate collection of computers, networks and software that come together to do the job you're asking.
